Good news! You can now register for the upcoming CWL National Conventions to be held in Kelowna BC, this August! You can register on line at our national web site owl.ca or by mail. If you register on line, you can use your credit card. If you register by mail, you can send a check.

You will find your registration form (printable or on line) at cwl.ca and go down the main page until you find “conventions”. I have registered on line and it’s really easy. HOWEVER, I am finding bookings for some hotels are filling up fast.

Well, the CWL members of St. Patrick’s Church in Victoria are all set and ready to go with their new executive council. They successfully held their election on January 25, 2022, despite COVID . . .

Our CWL members and friends are proud of our “Freda Smith Bursary”. However, many people ask: who is Freda Smith” and why does this bursary honour her”?

The CWL membes of Ascension Parish in Parksville celebrated Father Thomas ‘s birthday at the Christmas membership tea, Friday, December 10th. They had a special cake and presented a basket of gift cards to him to show Father their appreciation of all he does for them and the parish.

Happy Birthday, Father Thomas.! Way to go women of the CWL!

Every afternoon CWL member Rosemary Fontenla sits in her “!Quiet place” and gets her knitting needles and rosary out. She follows the tv rosary while praying over the beautiful prayer shawls she creates with love and skill.
