On Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Ascension  CWL Pot Luck dinner, Maureen Dawson, Bursary Chair, awarded the $1000 Bursary prize to Anet Scaria, who graduated from Ballenas high school in Parksville.

Anet will use her bursary at UVic to study to be a pharmacist. "I hope to return to Oceanside to work when I finish my degree," she commented.
