Here are some photos from the good folks at Ascension Parish, in Parksville, breaking ground for their new Blessed Mother Grotto on Sunday, September 13, 2021. The CWL and particularly the Knights of Columbus are leading this work. Most of the funding comes from the Bishop’s Appeal rebate and everyone hopes to have the work completed in two months or less.

This grotto will certainly encourage people to pray more in these unusual times. So, well done Ascension Parish.

Oh, one more thing; you’ve got to love that hard hat.
