Dear Sisters in the League:
May this email find you well.
By now, I am sure you have heard the latest news concerning Fr. Mike’s health.
After getting the go ahead from our President, I would like to send Father Mike a spiritual bouquet from all the councils on the Island. His six sessions of chemotherapy begin today.
My plan is to collect all the spiritual bouquets on or before the 28th of November and send them to him by the 1st Sunday of Advent. Rosaries, adoration, mass intentions, divine mercy chaplet and other forms of prayer are greatly accepted.
In his email he states that: “I know this illness will be more challenging, however with the support of family, friends and parishioners near and far I will get through this”.
Let us show him that we are a community of sisters who will step up to the plate to support and pray for the success of his treatments.
I will be out of country from Nov. 10th to Nov. 25th but will have access to email. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
May Our Lady of Good Counsel guide us as we continue our journeys.
