I wish to bring to everyone's attention that our beloved league continues to move forward confident that with God's help and our own hard work, we will be able to hold our CWL National Conference in Kelowna, BC, August 14-17. To this end, Christine Mason has written this special prayer for the success of our first "real" post COVID convention.
THEY'RE BACK!!! ST. EDWARD'S CWL CELEBRATE OUR LEAGUE'S ANNIVERSARY PT. II
St. Edward’s Council in Duncan wanted to do something to celebrate the CWL’s 100th Anniversary and because of COVID, we did it in two parts.
If you recall, 2020 was the year that Tita A. and a few members along with a few husbands got together with the Queen of Angels School Kindergarten Teacher and class and planted 100 Daffodils. A lot of fun was had with the very keen children.

DRIVE THROUGH BABY SHOWER CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION. PARKSVILLE
Good Afternoon, Friends: You know, I think our CWL is kinda like water. It's everywhere and will always find a way in. Our people, like our members at Ascension Church up in Parksville, B.C., didn't let a little thing like a world wide plague get in the way of working with community partners to successfully run a baby shower for mothers in need. ST. PATRICK'S (VICTORIA) CWL COUNCIL IS EXTRA NICE ON ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
Here is a post that can't help but make you feel good this spring morning.
Lorrie, CWL Council President from St. Patrick's Church (Victoria) sent us the following note showing us what they did for St. Patrick's Day.
"Might not qualify as news but I thought I’d send on.
At St Patrick’s Parish in Victoria we still recognized St Patrick’s day by providing home made shamrock cookies ! These treats were for anyone who came in the office during opening hours.
Cookies baked by our Member Berny !
It may not be a big Irish Stew but they were delicious ."
Now, that HAS TO brighten your day!
