As the Catholic Women’s League of Canada, we commemorated our 100th anniversary…. last year! At Christ the King, we planned to plant a tree as a lasting tribute to mark the occasion. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen in 2020. With the COVID pandemic cancelling all plans, and the fact the tree we wanted was not available, our plans were postponed to this year.

THEY'RE BACK!!! ST. EDWARD'S CWL CELEBRATE OUR LEAGUE'S ANNIVERSARY PT. II
St. Edward’s Council in Duncan wanted to do something to celebrate the CWL’s 100th Anniversary and because of COVID, we did it in two parts.
If you recall, 2020 was the year that Tita A. and a few members along with a few husbands got together with the Queen of Angels School Kindergarten Teacher and class and planted 100 Daffodils. A lot of fun was had with the very keen children.
