On Thursday, May 10, 2018,thousands of young and not-so-young people joined forces for Victoria’s 10th annual March for Life to stand up for the dignity of life, from conception to natural death.
Participants filled St. Andrew’s Cathedral at noon to celebrate Mass with Bishop Gary Gordon where he reminded us that we must continue to protect the most vulnerable in our Society and this starts with reaching out to them as a friend.
Gathering at Centennial Square, we then marched towards the Parliament Buildings in the sunshine. Clouds moved in quickly and but the rain could not dampen anyone’s spirits as we listened to speakers Jared White, Brett Powell, Tamara Jansen and Alissa Golob, and Members of the Legislature share their support of issues related to the beginning and end of life.
